Delivery Process

Getting natural Pennsylvania fieldstone and flagstone delivered is an easy process. We would be happy to assist you in setting up freight or you can set it up yourself.

A few things you need to know when getting a rate for the freight and scheduling a truck.

   Contact trucking companies to get their rates. Some will give per mile rates, some truck companies will give a flat rate, or a rate with a fuel surcharge (rates vary so shop around). If you're interested in having fieldstone delivered, you can click the "directions from Stone Stackers" link on this page. Put in the delivery point and it will give you the mileage. If you get a per mile rate, then multiply the mileage by the rate per mile and you will get the freight rate.

   Total number of pallets to be shipped. A full load is 16 pallets. Pallet size is (3'x 4'x 30")

   Gross weight of the load. 3000lbs per pallet or 48,000lbs. for a full load of 16 pallets.

   Vehicle must be able to be loaded from the sides, such as a 48' flatbed trailer, 48' curtain trailer or 48'covered trailer.

   No tarps needed, straps only.

   No touch by the driver to load or unload.

   All contact addresses, phone numbers and dates.

At the delivery site you will need a skidsteer or a fork lift capable of lifting a 3000lb. pallet to unload the truck.

We make every effort to ensure that the order is ready for loading prior to the arrival of the carrier. We do need all pertinent phone numbers to provide communications. The driver must call us prior to pickup for proper directions for the loading area. This will insure there is no delay in loading. Thus, helping to have on time delivery to the correct location.
